This series of photographs is actually more for reference than for aesthetics. I am using all of these pillowcases for an upcoming project and needed to be able to see their color and patterns easily. Technically there are more than 39 cases (all purchased from thrift stores) as some came in pairs.

My hope is that my project will be successful thus requiring more photographs of me holding pillowcases. It was definitely an unusual way to spend a couple of hours.

A bit late on this post but now is better than never. I received a package in the mail last month from my mother. She said she tried to get this gift for my birthday but the website was sold out until recently. Once it was delivered, I opened the box to find a 35mm twin lens reflex camera kit inside. The Recesky Twin Lens Reflex Camera is a plastic build-it-yourself toy camera. It only took about an hour and a half to put the thing together, even though some of the English directions aren’t written clearly (the camera is produced in China).

Just yesterday I was able to get some film. I’m trying to shoot 800 ISO with this thing. The hardest part is trying to get used to the fact that the image one sees through the viewfinder is reversed from what is in front of you. Once I get this roll done and developed I’ll post the resulting photos here.

This photo, taken by Parisian photographers Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre, is simply amazing and surreal in its actuality.

This is a zine I made with my friend Jihaari Terry for his last show, Cold San Francisco Nights at Gestalt. The zine is titled “Marked Twain”.

Just another example of the type of work I’ve been doing lately. My snowflake technique has been improving with practice, as one might expect. Hopefully all the different paper snowflakes I’ve made will look amazing, side by side, each one unique.
